Meeting Shorts for June 2003

At last Tuesday's meeting, we discussed the following meeting ideas.

For programmers, we are looking at how to install the compilers. Robert has agreed to bring part of his enourmous collection, and we'll look at how to have several compilers cohabit within one eCS or OS/2 installation.

Anyone who has a favorite programming language is invited to bring it and show how to install it.

For better demonstrations, we'll be looking at using TV-out on our computers to drive a TV (I was going to say "big-screen", but I don't want to exagerate) If you know something about S-video cables, we'd like to hear from you.

Finally, I've been slow to get the word out on meetings, so I'd like to get started early for this one.

Neil
